MANNNN oh man, this is it. The day I dread. I know Summer isn’t officially over but…it is over. Sorry to be the bearer of that news. September = Fall.
Sometimes I get sick of myself and everyone on the planet with their ‘end of summer’ blah blah emails and endless social posts so I am not looking back. Here at Jane Win, we are only looking forward.
While summer is a time for me to regroup, change my routine and travel less (just living the lake life!), Fall is when we hit the ground running - and that does not stop until December 24th 😜. My schedule is INSANE. Many of you comment on it when I am in a new place every week and honestly it is something I have to gear myself up for, but I love it. I love it so much – love the events, being in our favorite Jane Win towns, it is an honor.
This Fall there are a few things I thought you would love to hear about. Number ONE top priority?
What dresses are we buying! None of this happens without the right outfit, am I right? So first comes the wardrobe. For this edit, this new ‘haul’ for my Fall wardrobe is coming all from one place, Tuckernuck 😊The relationship Jane Win has and I have personally have with Tuckernuck has really grown and I value it so much. Just as the Jane Win collection has evolved, the styles that Tuckernuck offers – they have elevated and they are incredible. Now that the closet is stocked, I have some fun news that is not necessary jewelry related…I am the Entrepreneur in Residence at Villanova Law School. YES. That is as legit as it sounds. My first CLASS is September 7th with my mentor MarySheila McDonald, I will be sharing my path – as winding as it is – from first job to first company (failed) to Lilly Pulitzer to the thriving Jane Win. I will have office hours and do “lunch and learns”. I am so so honored and will take you along for the experience on Instagram.
Then, well with all that shopping and teaching you know I have to get to Italy. Mr. Jane Win and I are going to Sicily for a week, with the goal of exploring the east coast. If you have been please send me your favorite restaurants and sights.
And then. AHHHHH this is top secret. We are launching (in collaboration with another brand) something that you WEAR, like clothes but you sleep in them. Did I give too much away? I am good at keeping secrets but this is too good not to start a little gossip. Naomi, my stepdaughter, designed the print, Tiki is the model…we have the COOLEST launch coming your way. That’s where I will stop leaking the news…but if you are local to Philly: Save the date we are planning a party in the showroom September 27th.
And then I fly to Dallas and we are doing custom Monograms! We’ll be at Market Highland Park Village September 28-29. Keep your eye out for an invite.
And that is September. WOWWWW will I make it? You know I will! This is one of the happiest Labor Days I have had, no looking back, only forward to the fun. Xx Janie
