A Note from Jane: Holiday Edition
I absolutely CANNOT BELIEVE we are launching our Holiday Gift Guide today. As I write this, I am sitting by a Fall fire, having a cup of tea…leaning into the cozy energy of the season to come. As our trunk show schedule picks up (I’m headed to NYC, Kansas City, Chicago and LA! Keep scrolling for the Save the Date) and we fine-tune all things holiday for Jane Win, I am balancing in my mind the craziness of the holidays with a feeling of calm and simple delight. I want my family to come home to a warm, happy, comforting space filled with JOY. Yes, of course there will be the holiday mad dash, but right now I remain centered on a true love of family, friends and those special connections a unique gift can bring.
My Dad was the best gift giver, and now Mr. Jane Win has taken over by choosing for me the most thoughtful and fun presents. And I LOVE presents. I love getting people presents, I love wrapping presents, and I love receiving presents. Have you ever read the book about LOVE LANGUAGES? I think ‘receiving gifts’ is on my list ❤️.
I don’t think I’m great at ‘selling’ Jane Win jewelry, I just love what we create and I am so happy to share the special pieces. The words and meaning behind each piece are so genuine and, especially coming off Breast Cancer Awareness month, I have been overwhelmed by the stories of meaning that jewelry can hold for the wearer. Now that I don’t have my Dad, I wear the jewelry he gave me – feeling like there is a part of him with me. I wear a bracelet that was my grandmother Jane’s and feel like – she is somehow proud of me. I hear young women come into the showroom and say, “I got this for my graduation” and they wear it with pride. There is something about jewelry that can mark a milestone moment, but can also make a holiday one to remember. Does that make sense? With many Christmas gifts under the tree, you remember the moment you opened that special thing you wanted sooo badly and wear every day.
This note is a bit meandering but…I’m just feeling it guys. Feeling the simple love of the season to come. Wanting to create a warm, happy place for my family to be together. I want to give gifts that they adore, that they wear every day and remember how much I adore them. And of course I want to open presents for me!!!!!
Our holiday deliveries of jewelry grow as we get closer to the big day, meaning we will be adding things to the gift guide as new jewelry pieces launch. Did you know that this year Christmas and Hannukah align, with Hannukah starting the evening of December 25th – WOW. Every Monday from now until the last days of December we will be launching new jewelry pieces. It’s so fun!
