A Note from Jane
As you may have noticed from my Instagram, I am in Italy this week. It is HEAVEN. We are exploring the east coast of Sicily - flying into Catania, then driving south to Syracuse and we are now back up in the northeast Taormina. There has been plenty of beach time, but also so many really rustic and beautiful walks, shopping in tiny boutiques, and lots of sardines for dinner 😘
When we travel, Mr. Jane Win and I talk about everything. What our goals are for Jane Win. Should we try a line of men’s jewelry, should we introduce women’s printed dresses (because I am clearly a dress addict)…should we grow the business and find more stores to carry it, or should we keep it just the size it is. I wander the streets and find (really) old coin jewelry that inspires our next round of designs. Here there is coral everywhere – which you WILL SEE show up on the line next summer. It is a chance for us to unwind, but gear up at the same time. I promise to do a full round-up of our trip when we are back with hotels, restaurants and beach info!
The moment we come back, we have an AMAZING event planned in our showroom to launch our PJ collaboration with MERSEA. I adore these PJ’s for so many reasons – first, they are so chic and comfortable– but also because my very talented step-daughter created the print. I asked her to draw the Jane Win night sky, taking all of our coin designs and ‘motifs’ and turning them to constellations. We have this print on our new gift boxes as well – you know packaging and pretty boxes are a weakness of mine!
And once I say goodbye to the beaches of Sicily – which you are going to have to pry me off of – I WILL start dressing like it’s Fall, I promise! Here are all of the items that I have in my shopping cart for fall paired with our fall Jane Win layers. Have fun shopping!
