If you’ve been part of the Jane Win community for a while, you probably know that books have always been a little bit of a thing around here.
My first job, at age 15, was at a bookstore called the Kearsarge Bookshelf in New London, NH. And while I spent a lot of my time organizing the children’s department, I also developed—EARLY ON—not only a love of reading, but a love of the conversations that happen around books.
It is still one of my absolute favorite things: you’re sitting next to a friend (or even better, someone you don’t know), you ask what they’re reading, and their eyes LIGHT UP as they tell you about their latest book. Being well read isn’t just a fun way to pass the time 😊. Books make us more curious, more interesting, better listeners, and lifelong learners.
As an avid reader, I’ve been very intentional about connecting Jane Win with authors and book lovers—from Kate Quinn and Jenna Bush Hager to Brad Meltzer, Kate Doerge, Jodi Picoult, and many more. And through all of those conversations, events, and friendships, something pretty special happened: we created an unofficial Jane Win book club without even trying.
So we thought…why not make it official? And maybe make it a little different.
Welcome to the Jane Win Book Club. Our favorite books to read, gift, and collect—because great stories, like great jewelry, carry meaning.
Here, we’ll share books we love and books that inspire us. Some months, we’ll tell you what we’re reading and ask you to read along with us. Other months, we may simply share a beloved book that moved us, taught us something, or is just too beautiful not to talk about—yes, coffee table books absolutely count!
And we are starting off STRONG.
Our very first book is Hollow Bones by the incredible Jodi Picoult in celebration of her 30th novel. Jodi recently came to visit us right here in Wayne for a special day of signing books, sharing stories, and connecting with our community. Getting to spend time with her and hearing the story behind this incredible milestone was such a treat.
It also felt like the perfect book to begin with because, at Jane Win, we have always believed in the meaning of being STRONG—especially the kind of strength that isn’t always loud. The strength it takes to navigate motherhood, to keep going when life gets complicated, to be resilient, and to protect the people we love most.

As you can probably imagine, we will always find a way to connect the meaning and inspiration we discover in books to the meaning behind the jewelry we create. Words matter to us. Stories matter to us. And the ideas we carry with us—LOVE, HOPE, COURAGE, GRATITUDE, STRONG, and so many others—are at the heart of Jane Win.
Education and community have also always been a big part of what we do, from supporting our local schools to collaborating with incredible women and organizations like Jenna and Thousand Voices. So somehow, this feels less like we’re starting something new and more like we’re finally giving a name to something we’ve loved all along.
I can’t wait to read along with you.
