Can you give me the quick, quick background on how you started the brand?
We met in pilates and instantly became friends. We saw a void in the market for one size luxury and that's where it all began.
Now let’s talk Caftans. Why is this your signature style, and what is your inspiration?
For this holiday group of caftans, what is the story behind these ‘over the top’ pieces?
Our signature style is effortless and cool and our inspiration is easy luxury dressing. We wanted this collection to be very holiday - more is more! More color, more accessories, and more fun!
I wear my caftans with heels – really more as a party dress. What is your fave way to wear a caftan - or styling tips for caftans?
Lindsey - I love to wear the short wrap with boots to dinner.
Jamie - I love to wear the everyday dress with flip flops to the beach.
Time to talk jewelry. From my point of view, I crashed your design studio and basically hypnotized you with jewelry until you said YES to a collab. How do you recall this all coming to be?
We were so excited to see you in our studio and immediately loved your energy in addition to being fans of the brand. It was a match made in heaven!
What is your favorite piece in the La Vie Style House x Jane Win collab?
There are so many good ones its hard to choose - from the brocades with fur to the satin with feathers we were leaning into 90s excess. Lindsey's favorite is the emerald brocade fur mini wrap gand Jamie's is the pearl cabana stripe deep v caftan.
We are headed into full HOLIDAY mode, what’s your go to gift for the season?
Obviously Jane Win jewelry and La Vie caftans. Jamie - Solvang bakery gingerbread houses. Lindsey - customized backgammon sets from Nine Fair.
