A NOTE FROM JANE
HI guys! Just a quick note before we get to the interview I did with Jillian, the Founder of Powder Puff Collection. I just wanted to lead with - this woman is smart, fun – and incredibly welcoming. When I landed after a long flight in Jackson Hole, she opened her doors – her adorable kids were running around – she treated us to the loveliest, chic dinner in JH with embroidered napkins with our names for place cards. When we talked to her about a trunk show in our showroom, she hopped on a plane with giant lavender suitcase filled with powder puff, so low maintenance and easy going - an incredible addition to our gang of female owned businesses. Jillian is the kind of person who is an instant friend. I wear my Powder Puff Collection puff EVERY DAY when I take my afternoon walk with Mr. Jane Win, I absolutely love it and her. We are so happy to host a fun giveaway together with over $1000 in JW and Powder Puff Collection goodies, you can enter HERE.
xx Janie

Jillian! I am so happy to introduce you to our girl gang. We have been on tour together this year – first in your hometown of Jackson Hole and then in our Wayne showroom. Before we jump into your fabulous line – tell us a bit more about you. Where are you from and where did you get your start?
Tell us a little more about you: Where are you from and how did you get your start?
I am from Chicago, IL - a very cold city and blustery city in the winters! I was always in a scarf. I began my fashion journey at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. Prior to graduating, I landed a role with the iconic House of Chanel in the accessories department. It was here that I further developed an appreciation and love for all accessories. Following Chanel, I embarked on a fifteen year tenure with Ralph Lauren, where I worked closely with Mr. Lauren and team for the launch Polo for Women.
You started your career in accessories, a girl after my own heart. What inspired you to start yur line of luxury winter accessories?
In 2015, I relocated to Jackson Hole, Wyoming with my husband. Recognizing the drastic change in culture (and temperature), I began developing the idea of a luxury, lifestyle accessory that married my city roots to the beautiful landscape of a winter resort town.
There was a need for a functional, yet luxurious and stylish scarf accessory -- something that would resonate with a bi-coastal audience. Channeling my very feminine and classic aesthetic, I created a luxe, colorful, warm and sportif accessory at an accessible price.
You have such a fabulous stack of JW coins and charms. What is the story behind your Jane Win #neckmess?
I have always loved a charm necklace. Each of our children have an animal associated with them from either a stuffy, or a nickname etc. When we had our children I received a charm necklace and I collect charms associated with their signature animal. I love my elephant and bunny charms from Jane. I also recently added a key with our anniversary to wear on a long chain for my husband. I am obsessed with meaningful pieces.
Tell us about a 'pinch me' moment you have had since founding Powder Puff Collection.
I think the most fun moment was when I was skiing in Aspen and I kept seeing people whom I did not know wearing my puffs around the mountain. I was also very flattered when Gorsuch started carrying my line. love turtlenecks.
A few quickfire questions...
What is your winter uniform?
