Can you BELIEVE we are starting a new year?? I LOVE IT. As you may know, each year on January 1st we release a new coin with meaning. The entire team thinks about this, gauging the energy we feel and adding in the vibe we think the world needs for the coming 12 months. In 2021, we launched HOPE during Covid. In 2022, we needed BALANCE. 2023 we launched FAITH, 2024 we added COURAGE…and in 2025 we launched GRACE.
I have to say, Grace is one of my favorite launches. A WORD that I naturally gravitate towards. When I was thinking about 2026, I was a little – nervous? GRACE meant so much to me personally, I wanted to make sure that 2026 had a word and meaning that I love just as much (and that you connect with just as much!).
In the design process, I kept coming back to how lucky I feel, how fortunate I am – for being able to build the life I dreamt of with Mr. Jane Win…for Jane Win…for my friends and family…for our customers…for the JW TEAM – for being able to take walks in the afternoon – I just felt it ALL big and small. I notice the simple fact that I am an optimist and wake up smiling. I know that so many of you feel the same way, you feel blessed. And with that, the word became obvious, and that word is…
GRATITUDE
Today, we launch something close to my heart: Our new Gratitude Coin, a piece created to honor one of the most powerful feelings we can choose—appreciation.
There’s a quote that has guided us through the design of this coin:
“Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul.”
I love this idea—that gratitude isn’t something we wait for, but something we cultivate, something that grows when we choose to notice the beauty around us.
When we look around, we see the world through the rose-colored glasses of Gratitude. This word puts a positive tint on our days, takes note of the good and the bad, and allows us to appreciate the world around us. The love, the friends, the family, the work we have done, the road to a full life. Gratitude is the ultimate ‘glass half full’ approach. This coin celebrates the bounty of gratitude with fruit, delicate fragrant blossoms and lush leaves.
This coin was designed to reflect that fullness. You’ll find abundant fruit, delicate blossoms, and lush leaves—symbols of a life rich with moments worth appreciating. This coin is a golden reminder to pause, to breathe, and to take in the bounty of your world.
To me, gratitude is appreciation with a full heart. My hope is that when you wear this coin, it becomes a symbol of the treasured life you are creating for yourself—one thoughtful, grateful moment at a time.
