Basic but Essential: THE WRIST STACK

Basic but Essential: THE WRIST STACK

Posted by Jane Paradis on

For our last days of summer we celebrate all the little bracelets that remind you of friends and sunshine. The wrist stack is a year round thing: piles of bracelets on one arm that feel ‘right’ for the season. Fall is anchored by a cuff, winter may take on multiple gold bangles, spring is a bit ‘prettier’, and then SUMMER. The summer wrist stack is a favorite because it’s more bohemian! Loads of little tied-on goodies that remind you of the colorful macramé thread bracelets from camp. The stack can change daily but the vibe is the same; it’s eclectic and each little tie-on means something. This time of year we have tiny lines from your favorite bracelets, the sign of a well lived sunny summer.

The base of my stack is a friendship bracelet from by best friend Rachel. Next to it sits a tiny 4 leaf clover that my Lilly Pulitzer friends gave me on my last day for luck. From there, I build every day. This summer we took an early trip to Capri and I got a pretty pearl and coral strand and a killer macrame bracelet with a cameo skull. After recently going to a beading workshop with my daughter I made an amethyst strand with a bell and moon hanging from the clasp. Lots of times I wrap on an orange cord adorned with the evil eye (see pic).

Here are some of our favorite bracelets to build your late summer stack. Link on images below to shop. Trust us - more feels better.

Tons of love and xx, Janie
