Leather Bracelets: An Expensive Habit (that’s totally worth it)

Leather Bracelets: An Expensive Habit (that’s totally worth it)

Posted by Jane Paradis on

I’m not sure if it’s a trend or if this style has made it to classic status, but there is a look to the leather wrap bracelet that says: I am influenced by Hermes therefore very chic. I GET IT.

Things that wrap have a certain nonchalance that when done right can steal the show. The obi belt. The DVF wrap dressA scarf wrapped around your wrist or neck. It takes a little work but can look a bit off-hand - you aren’t trying too hard - you just look this amazing without effort.

From my perspective, the originator of the leather bracelet trend is the Hermes double wrap watch band which became a ‘thing’ that evolved into the wrap bracelet. Any color works, but in fall, orange or brown rule. There have been many that emulate the look in their own way, the brand list is a who’s who of luxury. I was surprised to see some ‘reasonable’ price points in this post considering the look is luxe. Whether wrapping or a single leather braid bracelet, this look can be worn solo or as the base of your Fall wrist stack:

Hermes Triple Wrap Bracelet at The Real Real

Louis Vuitton Keep It Bracelet $220

Baton Leather Wrap Cuff at Free People $225

Paloma Picasso Double Knot Bracelet $1350

Tory Burch Stud Bracelet at Neiman Marcus  $128

Miansai Leather Wrap $65

Side note: Hermes is one of my all time favorites and the video for their new scent Twilly is AWESOME, watch here

Tons of love and xx, Janie
