Without a doubt Summer is one of my favorite things in life. When I had a corporate job I actually didn’t like summer because I was SO TORN by the long hours with my kids out of school. It was the hardest of all the balancing acts of being a working mom – and anyone that is in the midst of that juggle, I feel you! Now that my kids are older and come and go – AND I have the flexibility of my own business - I can completely immerse myself in the joys of summer. One other HUGE change for me while we live up in NH for the summer months? We don’t watch the news. We really don’t watch any tv at all. And I am sorry if that is insensitive, but WOW it is great to take a break. So, life is looking rosy from my little perch here on the lake. Mr. Jane Win and I wake up early and take a long walk – a bit of a race as we ‘speedwalk’ about 5 miles through a country road talking about the kids, Jane Win, upcoming travel…recently we were talking about everything we are LOVING right now, and I thought I would turn it into a note to you.
FAVORITE COLOR? It’s a turquoise summer. Wowwww are we having a turquoise moment. I cannot take off my Turquoise Carved Heart. We have sold out of the Turquoise Beaded Necklace TWICE and have an emergency summer restock that is dropping today. Grab it if you love it, we will not be restocking again for a bit…
FAVORITE PLACE? We all have our summer ‘places’ and for me that’s Lake Sunapee in New Hampshire. We have just (this second!) launched a Lake Sunapee Coin that benefits The Lake Sunapee Protective Association. YAY! This summer we also launched a Hamptons Coin and we see you shopping the Nantucket Coin like mad. It’s so fun to celebrate your favorite place with jewelry…here are all our destinations (please feel free to DM and email back with suggestions for the next one!)
FAVORITE PEOPLE? Leos! The zodiac sign of Leo kicks off Saturday running July 23-August 22nd. Some of our favorite people are Leos INCLUDING Mr. Jane Win 😊. These Leo coins are the perfect birthday gift – because we love both sides of this coin so much it really is two gifts in one.
FAVORITE DRESS right now? As you know from my Instagram stories I wear a cute dress every day. Who needs pants?!!!! I was recently interviewed by thelist.com (linked here) on where to find great dresses and they positioned me as a DRESS EXPERT. Life made! Over the past few weeks I have worn these beauties the most (keep scrolling for links!)
Some other quickies…Favorite SHOW right now if you are looking for something: We are watching WE CRASHED and I love it. Favorite Book? I just finished It Ends With Us and I literally could not put it down. Favorite recipe? We are shopping every day at the local farmers market and buying picked-that-day tomatoes and basil.
