This Spring we are delighted to partner with the Barbara Bush Foundation on a limited-edition collection of coins and charms to benefit literacy. Barbara Bush knew that literacy is key to improving lives, and the foundation in her name is the nation’s leading advocate for family literacy.

We took inspiration from Barbara’s favorite flower, the Peony, to create a collection of coins and charms focused on the word BLOOM. To bloom is to thrive, it is beautiful, and it leads to a better future.

A man gave me some peonies once, and he said, “If you plant them just as we say—you dig a deep hole, fertilize it, spread the roots, and put the dirt back on—then they may not bloom the first year, but they will bloom for the next 100 years.” That’s the way I think about literacy.
