A Note From Jane: Behind the Scenes of our Fall Photoshoot

Last week we shot all of the new Fall product. New product. New model. New photographer. That's a lot of newness. Luckily the incredible team from Jane Win organized everything so that it went off without a hitch. Pic of our fabulous girl gang (missing a few!) below. There is so much inspiration in these new layers, each piece telling a story.

Before we styled the shoot I had a zoom meeting with Vogue to show them the collection and I styled some neckforms in the office to show them the Jane Win ‘vision’ for Fall jewelry. In prepping for Vogue I inadvertently brought our design story together. It’s funny, as we are designing we really think more about ‘items’ that we do complete looks. But as the chains, coins and charms came in, I saw that there are really two ‘looks’ for Fall – and I think you are going to want BOTH.

First, the best news, it's all bout the #neckmess for Fall 2021. Blame covid (it's easy to blame covid for anything/everything and we are onboard) - but the zoom meeting is still a thing. Masks are still a thing. What goes with the cocktail hour of zoom meetings inside and masks outside?...Necklaces!

There are 2 ways we see styling your Fall neckmess…and the first is MEGA LAYERS. We are launching oversized charms (sneak peek in the video and spoiler alert the new North Star is on the site now). We mix our original coins with oversized charms amidst really chunk chains. The lapis bead is back in-stock and an incredible curb chain is coming soon. This mega layered and chunky look is so chic for fall, it’s some seriously heavy metal.

In contrast to the mega chunky look, there is a delicate neck layered with simple chains of all lengths and a smaller collection of charms. The new etched glass pieces we launched this week fit perfectly. In order to accomplish this style you do need a few different chains – our LAYER UP! CHAIN SET is a great way to start building our chain wardrobe so you have all the options you need. We strongly encourage you to wear Jane Win (lol of course) along with charms you have, a ring from your grandmother on a long chain, a charm purchased when traveling…the layers of charms tell a story.
